SEMANA AFRICA-CHILE

LUNES 9 AL SABADO 13 DE AGOSTO DE 2010

En febrero del 2011 se realizará en Lima, Perú la Cumbre de Jefes de Estado y de Gobierno de África y América Latina y el Caribe.

Para el pueblo chileno la realidad africana es poco conocida y es percibida como lejana a pesar de ser un continente ubicado en el sur. Como país inmerso en nuestra América, compartimos hoy con los países Africanos muchos objetivos y desafíos comunes:

La búsqueda de otro mundo posible a partir de la defensa de nuestras culturas y visiones de mundo, la defensa de nuestra biodiversidad, eco sistemas y bienes naturales renovables y no renovables y la lucha contra los efectos perversos del calentamiento global.

Como pueblos y países del sur abogamos por un comercio justo y la reducción mundial de las asimetrías y desigualdades. El Siglo XXI debe consolidar nuestra lucha por la autodeterminación y la plena independencia de nuestras naciones a partir de una verdadera integración de nuestros países en desarrollo y emergentes basada en la cooperación sur-sur.

La búsqueda de un mundo multipolar en paz y la edificación de un nuevo orden mundial impulsando la reinvención y cambio profundo del actual sistema de Naciones Unidas y de las instituciones multilaterales financieras.

Las realidades de ayer y de hoy de países africanos como Argelia, Angola, Mozambique, Sudáfrica, Egipto, así como la lucha del pueblo saharaui por su autodeterminación y descolonización en el Sahara Occidental, entre otros, no nos son ajenas. Con ellos y con el conjunto de los países africanos nos unen lazos importantes que queremos desarrollar, dinamizar y profundizar.

Es por ello que hemos organizado la Iª Semana África-Chile 2010.

Durante esta semana las entidades e instituciones convocantes organizaremos conjunta o individualmente eventos, académicos, artísticos, políticos y culturales de análisis, reflexión y difusión sobre el África y sus países, a partir de su pasado, presente y futuro y su relación con Chile en el contexto del proceso de integración de América Latina y el Caribe.

AFRICA-CHILE WEEK

MONDAY 9th TO SATURDAY 13th OF AUGUST 2010

This year the Soccer World Championship is played for the first time in South Africa. In February 2011 the summit of the African, Latin American and Caribbean Heads of State and Governments will take place in Lima, Peru.

For the Chilean people the African reality is little known and perceived as distant, despite being a continent located in the Southern Hemisphere. As a country immersed in our America, today we share many aims and challenges with the African countries:

The quest for another possible world, based on the defense of our cultures and visions of the world, the defense of our biodiversity and ecosystems and the fight against the harmful effects of global warming.

As people from the Southern Hemisphere we pledge for fair trade and global reduction of asymmetries and inequality. The 21st century should consolidate our fight for self determination and full independence of our Nations based on a real integration of our developing and emerging countries, guided by the South-South Cooperation.

The search for a multi polar world in peace and the construction of a new world order, driving the reinvention and the profound change of the current UN system and the multilateral financial institutions.

Yesterday’s and today’s realities of African countries, such as Algeria, Angola, Mozambique, South Africa, Egypt and the fight of the Saharawi people for their self determination and decolonization in the Western Sahara, amongst others, are not alien to us. With them and with all the other African countries we are tied with important links we want to further develop, vitalize and deepen.

This is why we have organized the First Africa-Chile Week 2010.

During the week from August 9th to 14th, 2010, the inviting entities and institutions will organize, jointly or individually, academic, artistic, political and cultural events to analyze, reflect upon and spread information on the situation of Africa and it´s countries, based on the past, present and future and it´s relation to Chile in the context of the Latin American and Caribbean integration process.

الأسبوع الإفريقي - التشيلي

في فبراير 2011 سينظم في ليما العاصمة البيروفية القمة الإفريقية الأمريكولاتينية، وفي الحقيقة فإن واقع إفريقيا لايعتبر معروفا بالقدر الكافي، وفي نفس الوقت فإن الشعور ببعدها يغلب على إعتبارها جزءا من الجنوب. وبإعتبارنا دولة تتموقع في عمق القارة الأمريكية فإننا نتقاسم اليوم مع الدول الإفريقية الكثير من الأهداف و التحديات المشتركة، والتي منها:
البحث عن عالم غير مستحيل التحقق إنطلاقا من الدفاع عن ثقافاتنا ونظراتنا للعالم، الدفاع عن التنوع الحيوي البيئية والثروات الطبيعية المتجددة وغير المتجددة ومواجهة تأثيرات إرتفاع حرارة الأرض.
وبإعتبارنا شعوبا و دولا من جنوب العالم فإننا نتطلع الى تجارة حرة، ومحاربة الفوارق بين اجزاء العالم. إن القرن الواحد والعشرين يجب ان يقوي كفاحنا من اجل تقرير المصير والإستقلال الكامل لأممنا إنطلاقا من تكامل حقيقي لدولنا في الميادين التنموية او الإستعجالية المبنية على أسس التعاون جنوب - جنوب.
البحث عن عالم متعدد الأقطاب في السلام و بناء نظام دولي يؤدي الى الإصلاح و التغيير العميق للنظام الحالي للأمم المتحدة والمؤسسات المالية المتعددة الأطراف.
وليس بعيدا عنا واقع العديد من الدول الإفريفية التي من بينها الجزائر، أنغولا، الموزمبيق، جنوب افريقيا، مصر، وكذلك كفاح الشعب الصحراوي من اجل تقرير المصير وتصفية الإستعمار في الصحراء الغربية، وهي الدول التي يجمعنا مع الدول الإفريقية روابط هامة التي نريد تطويرها وإدخال اليها مزيدا من الدينامية والعمق.
لهذا ينظم الأسبوع الأول الإفريقي - التشيلي 2010
خلال هذا الأسبوع تنظم المنظمات والمؤسسات المنظمة بشكل جماعي او احادي فعاليات أكاديمية، فنية، سياسية وثقافية للتحليل والتفكير والتعميم حول إفريقيا و دولها إنطلاقا من الماضي والحاضر والمستقبل وعلاقة ذلك بالتشيلي في إطار مسار تكامل و إندماج إمريكا اللاتينية والكارييب.
